Matt grew up in the auction business and sold his first auction at only 14 years of age. Matt and Rose married in the late 90’s and entered the auction business together soon after. Over the last 25 years they have been part of thousands of auctions across the country.
Matt bumped into our founder Mitch Silver in a chance meeting on a flight nearly 20 years ago. They struck up a conversation and Mitch invited Matt to participate in his flagship auction at Hot August Nights. Matt got to auction some cars alongside a man that would become one of his best friends, Dallas. Dallas was behind the mic describing the cars. They were the “B team” behind founder Mitch Silver and longtime friend and renowned description reader, Ed Bishop.  That weekend Dallas and Matt went on a 75+ car selling streak and have sold 1000’s of cars together since. Rose joined the Silver Auctions team shortly after and as they say, the rest is history. Matt and Rose are so excited to continue what Mitch Silver has cultivated over 4 decades.  Silver auctions will continue to be a place for car people. People who love cars, history and the joy of driving a well crafted automobile.
